I work with individuals and couples as a UKCP registered integrative psychotherapist having worked in the NHS, charitable organisations and private practice.
I firmly believe in the importance of continued personal development. As part of this belief I regularly attend workshops to develop my understanding and practice and am currently in the final stage of my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Metanoia Institute. In addition to this I also have a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology and have completed training's in Person-Centred counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Division of Counselling Psychology and adhere to the ethical guidelines set out by both the UKCP and BPS.
Alongside working in private practice I have also held positions as Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Counselling Psychology and regularly deliver lectures and training sessions to therapeutic practitioners and allied health professionals in the area of counselling practice.
